Ali's Basement

This movie just looks hilarioius. I know tons of people are going to say it looks stupid and it’s just another stoner movie, but you know what sometimes you just need that stupid humor to get by. Especially in these times, people are all stressed out with work, gas prices, elections and most of all our tanking economy. So, come join me on Wednesday and go watch Pineapple Express. I’m sure you’ll leave feeling better than you did when you walked in.

Update: I just saw this movie last night and I won’t be giving any spoilers, not that it’s that complex of a movie. I think movies turnout a certain way based on a person’s expectations, and so I try to limit my expectations. I will say it wasn’t as funny as I thought, but, I imagine if you’re high as hell you’ll die laughing throughout this movie. Seth Rogen does his usual thing but James Franco is the big surprise here, he did a great job playing the lazy drug dealer. This is definitely a new twist on the stoner movie as there’s a lot of action involved. I do recommend the movie, but maybe a matinee, not really worth $10.
