Check out the trailer for the upcoming movie American Gangster starring Denzel Washington as Frank Lucas and Russell Crowe as Ritchie Roberts. Also, in this film are some hip-hop heavyweights: Common, T.I., and RZA. The film is based on the true story of Frank Lucas, a drug lord who smuggles heroin into Harlem during the 1970s by hiding the stash inside the coffins of American soldiers returning from Vietnam. Denzel Washington spent time with Frank Lucas, his real-life alter ego in this film. As a sign of gratitude, Washington bought Lucas a Rolls-Royce after filming wrapped. Pretty sweet deal for Lucas, anyways check out the trailer, the film looks hot!
