Friday Night Lights - Gridiron Drama
Back in August ‘06, I started seeing preview for a show on NBC called Friday Night Lights and it was in the height of football season, so my interest was definitely peaked. I watched the first episode the following month and I’ve been hooked ever since.
The show is about the town of Dillon, Texas and the revival of the town when football season starts. The town has a lot invested in their high school football team and anything less than a state championship would be a disaster. This show has it all competiton, comedy, drama, romance, heartache and every episode leaves you on the edge. The interesting thing is that I finally watched the movie, which this show is based on, after the season finale. I actually like the show better than the movie because theres more action and better acting.
If you love football and drama, you will really enjoy this show. It’s one of the best shows on tv right now.
